LENZ TALENT AGENCY
1591 E. DESERT INN ROAD, LAS VEGAS, NV 89109 (702)733-6888   SINCE 1960

Lenz Talent Agency has exclusive representation of union and non-union talent in Las Vegas. We specialize in the actors who are
currently appearing in the Broadway Productions playing on the Las Vegas Strip with national credits. We at Lenz are known for
our honesty and integrity.

Our only other department is trade show representing models and narrators 18 years old to 24 years old.  This is a non exclusive
department with a handful of models we work with frequently.

Our interview day is Thursdays at 1pm at our office 1591 E. Desert Inn Road, East of Maryland Parkway five blocks on the South
side in a free standing white building.

What we request from our actors:
1.        You must have a current (within one year) color head shot.
2.        A resume affixed correctly on the back.
3.        Both of these should be clean.  NO COFFEE STAINS, etc.
4.        You are continuing your education. This does not mean you are training with the same acting coach for ever.  OR you took
one class a few years ago.  You must continue and practice your craft every week.  YOU must diversify with your training.

Helpful Hints:
Understand the strength and specialties of the agencies in your area to choose the one agent that will match you.  Not all agents
are good for all actors.  We all specialize in different areas.

Know your Market.  Las Vegas has more commercials than Feature Films,  More live presentations than television shows.

My observation from the meeting was that of disappointment for those actors with the attitude they did not need to study, they
were professional actors and SAG members since 1960 something.  Well I started snow skiing in 1960 and I was damn good.  I
no longer say I am a skier because I have not practiced my craft in four years.  Also, you that did that, did not show up with
pictures or if you did, they were bad or REALLY old.  Your resumes were put on backwards and not trimmed.  That would be like
me going skiing in the snow with a card board box.  YOU CALL YOUR SELF PROFESSIONAL GET PROFESSIONAL TOOLS AND
TRAINING.  You are the ones that will keep the standards at the lowest denominator.

Now for my pleasant surprise from the actors who have called me for advise and took it.  Your new color 8x10's with the resume
put on the back and trimmed looks great.  I see new training at the bottom.  I am very proud of you that have taken advice and not
had a attitude of entitlement.

NEVER GIVE AN AGENT YOUR PICTURE AND TELL THEM that the picture is  OLD ( NO Shit,   its black and white and the
person in the picture is 20 years younger and the hair oh my god PLEASE)  NEVER MEET AN AGENT OR CASTING DIRECTOR
WITH OLD PICTURES OR BAD PICTURES.  WE REMEMBER AND YOU DO NOT GET A SECOND CHANCE!   THE ACTOR WITH
THE TOOLS AND THE TRAINING WILL GET THE AGENT AND THE JOB.

Next time SAG helps you, HELP YOURSELF by being prepared.  DO NOT COME TO MY OFFICE WITH CRAP FOR PICTURES.  I
am not interested.  I work hard and I expect that of my actors. You get what you put into yourself and with most of you its nothing.
SAG went out of their way to help you get jobs and what I heard was entitlement bull shit.  Get off your ass and put as much into
your craft as all of us agents.  We all work normal 15 hour days to get our actors work.   I saw very few of you that have put anytime
into your craft except lip service.

And another thing, We are not interested in stories from years ago.  We do not have time on the past.  We have to pay our bill
NOW.  We make our living in the entertainment industry ONLY.  We do not have pensions.  Keep your stories for your friends and
family we are only interested in current situations.  We are their to make money.  If we are not getting the jobs, the phone will be
cut off.  Its called show
